What’s Blooming?

This week let’s have a little fun with the Centaurea.  This is just one of 400 species of Cornfield Weeds.  They grow about 3 ft. tall. Included in the 400 species are Cornflowers( blue) and Montana (mountain bluets).  They are members of the “thistle tribe.” A close relative to the chrysanthemums, sunflowers and marigolds.  The beauty of these bursts of sunshine is their long vase life and texture.  Ask to have these included in your mixed bouquet.
