Pick up an extra blooming plant!
With this year’s season weeks ahead of schedule it may be a good idea to pick up an extra pot or two when they go on sale in a couple of weeks. As the perennials peak and loose their blooms you will have a new shot of color you can move around your garden or set in a baren spot for the latter part of summer.
Suggestions for picking these additional containers.
- Pick a plant with a lot of blossoms that have yet to bloom.
- Choose a plant that has not already out grown it’s pot.
- Think of color and big blooms, choose a plant that will add wow to that colorless area.
- Watch as prices go down and greenhouses want to get rid of their inventory.
